New Independent Radio Show Celebrates Young Devon Artists
Online radio station Devonstream has launched a new radio programme, Devonstream Discoveries, showcasing new music from Devon’s unique pool of talented artists. The show also proudly features tracks from Devonstream Sessions – exclusive grant-funded live recordings of up-and-coming artists aged 18-25. The aim is to amplify their voices and provide new opportunities and connections. The programme, presented by new, local broadcasting talent, Mitty James, has already welcomed talented young artists including Josh DC, a guitarist and singer from Buckfastleigh, and Saff Juno, a singer-songwriter from Bovey Tracey. Both artists also spoke about their experiences as young musicians developing their careers in Devon. Future Devonstream Sessions will be recorded in studios around the county. Artists aged 18-25 can apply to take part online. Listen to the new show on the last Friday of every month at 7pm, or listen again online at www.devon.stream
