Modus Care provides high quality homes across Exeter for people with autism and learning disabilities. Due to demand for services we are appealing to landlords for further homes to rent.

Since opening our first home nine years ago Modus Care has gone from strength to strength, creating family-sized homes and apartments across Devon and Surrey, creating jobs for more than 250 people.

The homes would be rented for a minimum of five years, or as long as possible, to give long¬ term stability to our customers and the landlord security of tenure without the costs of continually having to find new tenants.

The facilities are registered and inspected by the government regulator, the Care Quality Commission, and round the clock care is provided by Modus Care’s fully trained staff who help its residents to lead a fulfilling life.

One of the key advantages of renting to Modus is knowing that the property would be fully maintained and kept to a very high standard to ensure a welcoming and homely environment. Similarly it is reassuring to know that there are no voids for the landlord to worry about during the term of the lease.

Deborah Stevenson, company director and head of human resources, added: “We have been responsible for properties with a full repairing lease arrangement for many years and can provide references on request. Our strategy is to create greater flexibility in our approach to meet the needs of those requiring specialist services. Providing quality, homely environments is a key factor in increasing the quality of life for those who we support. Entering into a lease arrangement with Modus Care would not only be a sound investment but one that will make a difference to peoples’ lives.”
