The ever-popular Exeter Festival of Food & Drink returns to Northernhay Gardens from May 8th – 10th with another fantastic three foodie days and two musical nights to fill the first bank holiday of the month. Visitors will be able to indulge in top-notch food and drink from suppliers based in the South West.

With the festival kicking off on the unusually placed Friday bank holiday due to VE Day, there will be plenty of VE Day celebrations that will become the focus of this day. In addition to this, the festival this year has introduced a ban on single-use plastic, as well as incorporating a plant-based area, dare we say this could be the most and inclusive one yet?

With Michael Caines at the helm, the festival is set to once again be full of tasty treats and plenty of delicious local produce. Enjoy cookery demonstrations and workshops; sample the treats and buy from over 100 stalls and relax as the little ones get creative in hands-on activities, including cookery classes for children too.

Live music will provide an enjoyable soundtrack throughout the afternoon and into the evenings, where the music will continue with two dedicated live music nights to help you keep that party mood.
